The Utah Republican Party released the following statement postponing caucus meetings.
Delegates from the 2018 caucus will serve their term a few months longer and attend the convention. The anticipated Iron County GOP Convention date is April 16th, though that is subject to change until plans are finalized. Both the state and county elections will be held digitally.
The caucus meetings will be held after the conventions, likely in the summer. We will release more information on how that will be accomplished as those plans are solidified as well. With many candidates wisely ending their signature gathering efforts to reduce risk of spreading the virus, the convention is the only way many will be able to get on the ballot. Take this time to get to know the candidates, and find those that best align with your principles, and the principles of those that elected you in your precinct.
