We hope this letter finds you well. We want to bring your attention to the upcoming Primary Election, which is scheduled for September 5th. Your voice matters, and this is your opportunity to have your voice heard.

Here are some key details you need to know about the upcoming election:

  • Ballots Sent: Your Primary Election ballot was sent out on August 15th. Be sure to keep an eye on your mailbox for this important document. August 25th is the last day to register to receive a mail ballot.

  • Early In-Person Voting: For those who prefer to cast their votes in person, the Early In-Person Voting period will take place from August 29th to September 1st. This is a convenient option for those who wish to avoid the rush on Election Day.

  • Mail-in Ballots: If you are planning to vote by mail, please remember that your mail-in ballot must be postmarked by September 5th to ensure that your vote is counted.

  • Election Day (Vote in Person): Election Day is on September 5th. This is the day when voters can cast their ballots in person at their designated polling locations.
    Special Election of CD2: In addition to the municipal election, there will be a Special Election for CD2 on the ballot. It’s important to note that only registered Republicans will have this race on their ballots.

• Iron County Courthouse, 68 S 100 E, Parowan, UT

o Aug 29, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

o Aug 30, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

o Aug 31, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

o Sept 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Election Day Voting Centers (Polls Open 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.):

• Iron County Courthouse, 68 S 100 E, Parowan, UT
• Enoch City Offices, 900 E Midvalley Road, Enoch, UT • Cedar City Office, 10 N Main, Cedar City, UT

Ballot Drop Boxes Will Be Available During Regular Business Hours at the Following Locations AUGUST 15 – SEPTEMBER 5, 2023:

• Cedar City Offices -10 N Main, Cedar City, UT
• Iron County Courthouse – 68 S 100 E, Parowan, UT
• Enoch City Offices – 900 East Midvalley Road, Enoch, UT
• Paragonah Town Hall – 44 N 100 E, Paragonah, UT
• Kanarraville Town Hall – 40 S Main, Kanarraville, UT
• Parowan City Office – 35 E 100 N, Parowan, UT
• Brian Head Town Hall – 56 North Highway 143, Brian Head, UT • Dixie Power – 71 E Highway 56, Beryl, UT
