Endorsement of Phil Lyman for Governor1 min read

The Iron County Republican Party proudly endorses Phil Lyman for governor. As the winner of the Utah Republican State Convention, with 67.54% support from locally elected State Delegates, we recognize Phil as the Republican Party Nominee, according to both our County & State Party Bylaws.

During his time in the Utah House of Representatives and prior, Phil has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the citizens of Utah. Phil’s opposition to doubling the grocery tax during a time of rising inflation exemplifies his understanding of the economic pressures facing Utah citizens. Furthermore, his advocacy for secure elections reinforces the foundation of our Republic, and increase trust from our voters.

His strong stance against Federal overreach on Utah land during the Obama era, the prosecution he faced for his advocacy, and his official pardon by President Trump all demonstrate his commitment to fighting for Utah’s sovereignty.

We highly value Phil’s refusal to accept money from special interest groups that would undermine Utah’s traditional family values.

We believe Phil Lyman is the leader we need to ensure a prosperous and principled future. We encourage Utah Citizens and county Republican Parties to join us in supporting his candidacy for Governor.
