School Board: Support Our Delegate-Endorsed Candidates

At our county convention, elected Republican delegates met School Board candidates, asked questions, evaluated their priorities, and voted on non binding endorsements. The results were overwhelming.

District 6

  • Adam Hahn: 203 votes (74%)
  • Nathan Slaughter: 71 votes (26%)

District 7

  • Justin Godfrey: 192 votes (68%)
  • Megen Ralphs: 88 votes (32%)

The Iron County Republican Party endorses Adam Hahn for School Board District 6 and Justin Godfrey for School Board District 7. We encourage voters in these districts to support Hahn and Godfrey on their ballots.

Constitutional Amendment A

Vote YES on Amendment A.

Constitutional Amendment B

The Iron County Republican Party encourages voters to vote FOR Amendment B.

Amendment B will protect Utah voters from statewide tax increases passed by a bare majority. It would require a supermajority of at least 60%, an overwhelming show of support from the people, for a citizen initiative to create or increase a tax, expand an existing tax, or prevent certain property tax rate reductions.

Other initiatives would continue passing by simple majority.

We believe tax increases should be used only for meaningful purposes and approved with the consent of the people who will pay them. Amendment B preserves citizens’ initiative power while ensuring tax increases receive broad public support.

Judicial Retention

Vote NO on Judges Gibson and Pohlman.

Please study your ballot, support these candidates, vote FOR Amendment B, and participate in this important election.
