The Iron County Republican Party would like to give a special thanks to Beth and Chris Stephenson, owners of Midtown Tire and Auto, the Lion’s Club as a whole, and many others for organizing such amazing floats in the parade. Starting the parade with such well organized and beautiful reminders of our nation’s origins set the tone for the rest of the holiday.
We heard many comments saying things like, “It was the best parade I have ever attended,” and, “Brought tears to my eyes. Love this country and city!”
It wasn’t candy that made this parade special, it was traditional American patriotism. It was reminders of our roots as Americans, the humble beginnings of our nation, and our God of Miracles that has made us a free and prosperous nation.
Thank you to everyone who participated in celebrating this Independence Day, and again, a special thanks to the Stephensons and Lion’s Club.Â
