The method used at the convention was Multiple round voting - Multiple round speeches.
In this method, candidates speak every time there is a vote until the results give one candidate 60%, or eliminate all but 2 candidates.
Multiple round voting - Single round speeches would be similar, but candidates would only speak once.
Single round voting - Single round speeches would have delegates rank the candidates from their most preferred to least preferred on a single ballot, which would eliminate the need for multiple rounds of voting.
